May 15, 2009 – Taylor Swift Concert!

Wow, what a show!  12 kids, 9 adults in a suite at Key Arena! 

Gloriana opened.  Kellie Pickler was second, and then Taylor.  It was an amazing, AMAZING show. 

Taylor arrived on stage @ 9p and ended her encore at 11:15p.

We will attempt to update all soon.  We have been so lame busy with life that we forgot we had this little blog.  It’s fun looking back at where we’ve been, so we need to keep it going.

saturday at the market

        

a beautiful saturday at the market.  after katies basketball game, we went to the city.  check out the size of the king crab legs.  lunch at cutters and feeding the pig…an 8 year tradition keeps going.

lunar eclipse!

  

wow!  we watch the moon go from full to covered to orange to bright white again.  total lunar eclipse! 

 i should of used a tripod as these were the least shaky pictures!

shampoo and jacuzzi tubs do not mix

        

after a day of snow and mud the girls need a bath.  dad might have put a little too much shampoo on their heads.  add a little jacuzzi tub and you have some serious bubbles (i mean trouble)

danny loved the snow!  so many pictures, but this was the best!

igloo or castle

  

the idea, was an igloo, but with the melting snow, i only smelled danger.  the result was a deep castle.

snow and mud…

with the snow melting on some of the slopes, the climb back from the long icy slopes brought the crazy girls through a mud field.  this is the cleaniest picture we could find.

crazy sledding

              

after many climbs to the top of the mountain, the girls would slide down the icy slope.  their speed was unbelievable.  we won’t show some of the aftermath of one of the final decents as the cut bloody nose may cause concern for some viewers! 

 clearly the more tame sledding on some backyard slopes was not much more safe as small trees were obstacles.

4 + inches of fresh snow falls – causing a monday snow day!  random pics from the morning!  forecast is for more snow tonight!

annual mt bachelor trip

once a year we stay in sunriver, oregon, and head up into the mountains for sledding and skiiing.  everyone but the 9mo old ski’s. 

evenings are spent laughing, playing games, lots of wine.

1st santa.

without a doubt this picture (above) would win awards.  this is dannys 1st christmas.  obviously it didn’t seem to be something he was going to like.  santa is in the background and all he seems to be saying is, get me the *bleep* out of here.

another successful annual xmas event at Macy’s downtown.

took the kids to see a show at Benaroya Hall.  The Coats.  An annual trip.  Loved going to Benihana afterwards for another show.  We always visit the trees and decor at the Fairmont Seattle.
